Privacy & data handling

1. channel access

repaper only accesses posts from the specific public telegram channels you add. it cannot and does not read your private messages, contacts, group chats, or personal account data

2. what is stored

we store only your telegram user id, preferred settings (digest time, language, custom prompt), and the list of channels you added. data is kept in a private self-hosted postgresql database

3. ai processing

summarization: processed via mistral ai (mistral-medium-latest)
prompt safety: verified via groq (openai/gpt-oss-safeguard-20b)

data sent to these providers is handled under their standard api terms for processing requests only

4. data retention & deletion

raw channel posts are processed in real time and are not permanently archived. if you want to completely delete your account and all associated data, contact us
